DIPANNITA ACHARYA (vocals and folklore)

Dipannita, is a naturally gifted singer who specialises on the rustic melodies of SouthAsian Folklore. She imbibed the rustic singing style since her childhood in association with the group of Monosha Mongol of her family and later from her gurus. -Her rustic voice float through the folk notes and creates a mystic sound as a whole.She is adept at baul, sufi-marifati, murshidi ,bhaoaiya,& jhumur from Bengal;bihu , kamrupi lokogaan and goalparia lokogaan from assam;rajasthani folk songs and gujarati raas garba and sanedo. She is the mouthpiece for the quintet.

 

RAJKUMAR SENGUPTA( guitars, ukulele,vocals and folklore)

Rajkumar Sengupta is a noted music composer and guitar player from the city of joy with a professional experience of 14 years, working with names like ANJAN DUTT, ORIENT EXPRESS, FRIENDS OF FUSION, ANUPAM ROY etc. A thinking musician and composer who is also associated with films like JIO KAKA, BRAKEFAIL, RANGMILANTI, RANJONA AMI AAR ASHBO NA, MADLY BANGALEE and composed for films like ASHARE GOPPO,GYANDAS FERIWALA etc. A key element and melody maker for the quintet.

 

RITOBAN DAS(Drums and assorted percussions and folklore)

Ritoban commonly known by his nick name "Ludo" is a working musician from Kolkata.He  has been associated with a number of projects like Cassini's Division, The Nukkad Salsa Project etc. Has worked with several music makers for various jingles, ad films, feature films etc. A folk enthusiast by heart and is associated with a no. of folk festivals organizing comittee in this part of the world. He is the groove maker who "folks"...

 

SAMRAT MUKHERJEE (keys and vocals)

A young musician and  a music  teacher of a reputed school in kolkata  with lots of influences in world music,blues , jazz and latin holds the band together with his brilliant melody and harmonic structures.

 

Tirthankar(tito)Majumdar(Bass and sound design)

Bass playing is one of his forte other than being a great sound engineer whos is holding the experience of working as mixing engineer in the studios as well and live for various artists. He has worked as sound engineer for more than 250 films,100 music albums,ad films and documentaries.
